Dear Sailors and Supporters,
The AYC Opening Day will be held on Saturday 24th April.
All sailors and helpers are requested to come at 12pm for clean up and rigging.
Visitors/guests will be coming for the formal Opening Event from 2.30pm.
The Programme will be as follows:
12pm - arrival for rigging and clean up
2.30pm - Blessing of the Fleet
3pm - Sail passed the AYC
3.30pm - Social sailing - take a friend or visitor for a sail
6pm - Derigging
6.30pm - susage sizzle for sailors
You should invite relatives/friends to come for the Opening Day who may be interested in the sailing programme or just to have a go at sailing.
Sailors should remember to have lunch before they arrive or bring a snack. All sailors should have their own life jacket as we will need the club life jackets for the visitors.
I would like to appeal again for you to bring empty 2-10 litre plastic containers for moorings.
